Wow, this is one of the best quotes I ever came across. When Shelley Hitz put that in words she must have really thought about it. I fully agree that broken crayons colour even neater and bolder.

We should learn to turn our lowest moments into greater milestones. We get broken in different ways and by different people and situations in life. Sometimes we get broken into the finest pieces that we take a very long time to assemble our broken pieces into a whole piece. Some of us eventually manage to put the pieces back together whereas some are never lucky to assemble the broken pieces together. They don’t get the second chance. Some of us crumble and never get back to feet.

However, we should strive to pick ourselves up. It’s the hardest thing to do but worth it. It doesn’t matter how long it takes, how many nights you cry and how many visits to a psychiatrist but at the end of it all the fruits become sweeter.

Let’s let God to be the one to determine whether it’s over for us. Whether we’ve lost a loved one, lost our job, gotten that deadly diagnosis from the doctor or our marriage is breaking apart and we want to wrap up everything and say it’s over, NO, let God decide.

It’s not over for you until God says it. He alone decides. Keep bombarding the heavens with your prayers and keep your hope alive.
